The temperature is maintained while continuous mixing moves the material through the heated chamber. This combination of temperature, exposure time and movement is central to the substantial reduction of pathogen load.

Published benchmarks apply to defined materials and conditions. MAOF combines a higher sustained operating range with continuous mixing and a long dehydration cycle. Site procedures, process records and any required local validation still apply.
